Workshop Project: Syldra-Class Submersible components and overall upgrades

Dear members, thanks to all your efforts, we've completed our first set of Coelacanth class submarine parts and have begun upgrading our submersibles to better explore the ocean floor! We are currently trying to obtain Kamacite Ore for the Syldra class parts.

Our 4th submarine is built and growing strong! In the meantime, we researched the ideal ratings for our submarine parameters in order to make the most of them, and it turns out that a lot of the better part combinations use Coelacanth, Unkiu and Syldra parts. We will need to build more Coelacanth and Unkiu parts as well on a piece-by-piece basis (rather than the whole set at once).

Our long-term goal is to progressively replace older parts (Shark and Whale mostly) on our submarines to achieve a selection of statistics that will allow us to get rare items more often, faster and in better yields. Having more parts available will let us swap them in and out of our submarines as they return home, shifting them towards their ideal configuratons one part at a time.

We've also determined that the utility of Syldra parts is not entirely uniform. We will therefore not be building the Syldra Pressure Hull, but instead build a second Syldra Bow, which is a better use of our materials as these are used in more efficient builds. The spreadsheet has been adjusted accordingly. Rest assured, there is only a small variance in materials needed and any extra will likely be re-used in subsequent builds.

Current Submersible mission objective: Farm Kamacite

Current Workshop project: Build a Coelacanth Bridge while we work on farming Kamacite
